Effect of selected grain parameters on the quality of the extruded oil
Literature data from 2000-2017 (60 refs.) concerning the quality of oilseeds (content of moisture, crude fiber, protein, fat and ash) and chem. properties of the oils produced from them (peroxide no., acid no., iodine no., oxidative stability) as well as pressing method and the content of P, sterols and tocopherols were used to derive the Pearson correlation matrix, which combined selected parameters of seeds and oils. The content of sterols and tocopherols in oils was strongly correlated with the content of moisture, protein and fat in the seeds. Similarly, the content of P in oil was correlated with ash content in seeds.
