Perlite dust was granulated with water glass binder (concn. 50-90%) in drum and disk granulators. The granulate (grain size 1-10 mm) was classified by sieve anal. and tested for grain size distribution, repose slop, apparent d. and discharge strength. The granulate showed the highest quality when the concn. of water glass binder was higher than 75%.
