Nine com. Cd, Zn, Se and/or S-contg. pigments were studied for chem. and light stability by treatment with aq. H2SO4 and NaOH solns. and under Xe lamp irradn. The post treatment thermal stability pigments was studied by thermogravimetry and differential thermal anal. The pigments were resistant neither to chem. nor UV treatment.
