Schematic diagram of an asymmetric dual-channel system for measuring changing specific heat capacities during a reaction is introduced. After that a calculation and optimization procedure based on the energy equations and the two deviated reaction progresses from the asymmetric dual-channel system is presented. Using heat transfer model of the system, simulations of reactions with different heat capacity function settings were carried out. Calculated heat capacity functions and reaction kinetics match the settings to preliminarily verify the validity and compatibility of the proposed method. Method limitations are discussed and the experimental verification method remains to be studied.
