Au Nanoparticle-TiO2 Hybrids for Efficient Electron Transport Layer in Perovskite Solar Cells
The novel synthesis of Au nanoparticle-TiO2 composites has been demonstrated to achieve uniform distribution of metal nanoparticles in the matrix. The resulting composites with Au nanoparticles holding localized surface plasmon resonance can work as an efficient electron transport layer in perovskite solar cells. With the combination of amorphous TiO2 capping layer, the optimized device shows enhanced higher short-circuit current density (24.16 mA cm(-2)) and open circuit voltage (1.07 V), achieving 16.8% efficiency.
