Andr. herbs by steam distn. and analyzed by gas chromatog. with mass spectrometry The distillate contained palmitic acid (26.6%), cedrol (15.25%), 6, 10,14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanone (8 .57%), oleic acid (7.35%), phytol (4.22%) and 1-tridecanecarboxylic acid (2.10%). The essence enhanced the proliferation of osteoblasts.
