Computer-aided teaching sets for experimenting with renewable energy sources
Three modern didactic res. stands (photovoltaic panels, a wind turbine and a Pelton water turbine) were designed, built and programmed, allowing for practical understanding the phenomena related to the conversion of energy from renewable sources. The stand with photovoltaic panels with a surface of 0.5 m(2) and a max. power of 50 W was equipped with 18 cells made of monocryst. Si. The turbine stand was equipped with a horizontal axis wind turbine designed for operation at wind speeds of 2.5-30 m/s. The Pelton water turbine model made in 3D printing technol. was constructed of a rotor consisting of 16 blades and nozzels placed in a transparent casing. The stands were computer-aided and accepted by users.
