Sorghum (Sorghum saccharatum L.), garden cress (Lepidium sativum L.), mustard (Sinapis alba L.) and alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) were used as test plants to study the contamination of 4 soil samples from industrial areas. Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Cr and Ni total concns. were detd. Phytotoxkit (TM) test was used to study phytotoxicity of the soils.
