Dehydration of pozzolanic products hydrothermally synthesized from flyash: microstructure evolution
The changes of microstructure caused during dehydration of pozzolanic products hydrothermally synthesized from flyash are discussed. Dehydrated products lead to a new kind of belite cement of different characteristics, which depend on the heating temperature. The microstructure was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, surface area (BET-N-2), and thermal analyses.
