Experimental Comparison of Solid-state NMR Spectra for Quadrupolar Nuclei Using Various Spin-echo Sequences
Static solid-state NMR spectra for quadrupolar nuclei were compared using various spin-echo sequences, as well as a single pulse sequence. Ti-47/49 spectra of TiO2 and H-2 spectra of deuterium-labeled poly (methyl methacrylate), PMMA-d(8), were assessed as representative half integer and integer nuclear spin systems, respectively. These results indicate that an appropriate spin-echo sequence is essential for obtaining reliable and robust NMR spectra of quadrupolar nuclei.
