Methylene Blue dye was sorbed on a Ca alginate beads from aq. soln. to det. max. sorption capacity and the affinity of the beads to the dye (alginate contents 1.1% and 2.4% by mass). The increase of temp. for 1.1% beads, did not affect of the sorption capacity. In the 2.4% beads, the temp. increase resulted in an increase of sorption capacity. The temp. increase contributed to the increase of the biosorbent efficiency.
