Ambipolar Transistor Properties of N2S2-Type Metal Complexes
Ambipolar transistor properties are observed in Schiff-base complexes derived from 2-aminobenzenethiol and 2-mercapto benzaldehyde, where a nickel atom is coordinated by two sulfur and two nitrogen atoms. The former complexes have extremely small energy gaps of 0.5 similar to 0.6 eV, where air-stable ambipolar characteristics with small off region are observed.
