New Cell Design for Inverted Rotating-Disk Electrode
A new inverted rotating disk electrode (IRDE) design based on a gas sealing arrangement is presented. An original procedure for changing the working electrode without the need for emptying the cell is described. Mass transport characteristics of the IRDE are tested by measuring limiting currents for ferricyanide reduction.
