Electron energy in quantum dots of different configurations
In this article, we compare the electron energies in the quantum dots of different configurations and different barriers. We emphasize the parameter which effectively defines sufficiently the energy spectrum, and show the importance of specific features of geometric parameters of QD. Comparing the electron energy in QD with different potential barriers we analyze its influence on the energy values and on the number of levels in QD.
