Redn. of SO2, NOx, CO and particulate matter emissions from road transportation vehicles achieved by partial replacing gasoline-driven vehicles by electrically driven ones was calculated from available statistical data on air pollution under Polish conditions. A safe use of renewable energy sources (photovoltaics, wind power, gaseous biofuels) for charging the batteries in elec. vehicles was a base for developing a new concept in e-mobility politics.
