A review, with 44 refs., of processes for recovering essential oil and other bio-active substances from rosemary biomass by extn. or distn. Their use in agriculture as natural plant protection agents, in pharmacy in agents supporting the treatment of diseases within the musculoskeletal, respiratory, nervous and circulatory systems, and in cosmetics as protecting anti-aging agents and also in anti-baldness and dandruff body agents was also discussed.
