Gas-Solid Two-Phase Flow Synthesis Equipment: A New Method for Continuous, Large-Scale Preparation of Metal-Organic Frameworks with No Solvent
Here, we demonstrated the continuous synthesis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) (ZnBTeC/MnBTeC/Ni-4[(phen)(2)(BeTC)]/Co-4[(phen)(2)(BeTC)]) by using a brand new device-gas-solid two-phase flow synthesis equipment. Quantitative conversions occurred to give products at 60 kg h(-1) rates. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction validated the precise structure of these MOFs. Also, it should be noted that the reactions were performed under completely solvent-free conditions. In addition, kinetic analysis was carried out to study the reaction mechanisms.
