Changes in the content of organic matter and mineral nitrogen in soil reclaimed by sewage sludge and mineral wool
Under conditions of a microplot expt., the impact of various reclamation methods by using flotation lime, mineral wool and municipal sewage sludge on the content of org. matter and mineral forms of N in soil degraded by S mining was studied. The tested waste and the method for its application to the soil had a beneficial effect on the accumulation of org. matter. and mineral N forms. The most favorable effect was noted in the case of combining mineral wool with sewage sludge.
