Properties of the selected vegetable oils for use as a base ingredient in the production of ecologically friendly lubricants
Four vegetable oils were prepd. by supercrit. gas extn. of strawberry, chokeberry, black currant and raspberry seeds, and studied for viscosity, lubricity, oxidn. resistance, corrosivity and flow stability according to resp. to stds. The oils were recommended as raw materials for prodn. of the biodegradable lubricants. The best properties showed the black currant oil.
