How to evaluate the feasibility on renewables' sharing economy in China: A case study of Uber-like mode plus wind
Driven by the development of global Energy Internet and the requirement of energy transition, the sharing economy mode in energy sector has turned into a novel inspiration. This study aims to analyze an innovative form as a new attempt of sharing economy in China's renewables. The Analytic Network Process method is used as an exploratory approach. A feasibility evaluation system for the Uber-like mode plus renewables project is established from the aspects of technical-economic feasibility, social-environmental feasibility, energy feasibility and reliability feasibility. The Uber-like mode plus wind project, as one specific application, is chosen as a case study to verify the effectiveness of the evaluation model. Based on the evaluation results, SWOT is adopted to discuss the internal conditions and the external environment for Renewables' Sharing Economy in China. The results show that: (1) The Energy with Uber-like Mode is theoretically feasible, and it can be a prime example of the "Energy Internet and Sharing Economy" scheme. (2) The feasibility evaluation system can be applied to regulate the key problems in the Renewables' Sharing Economy. (3) Analyzed by the SWOT, the unfavourable factors should be paid more attention to the Uber-like mode plus renewables project than the favorable factors. (C) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
