The 71 poster papers presented at the 16th Symposium on Biotechnology for Fuels and Chemicals provided new information on ethanol production, feedstock pretreatment, enzymatic activities, bioreactor characterization, enzyme and cell immobilization, valuable chemicals production, coal bioconversion, hazardous waste bioremediation, and on miscellaneous subjects.
