This review discusses suitable separation-methods of mixtures of monomeric and polymeric additives and shows methodes of analysis of the separated fractions. Two different separation-methods, a) the thermal-distillative and bl the chromatographic separation are compared. It can be shown that the thermal separation at moderate temperatures under vacuum is often superior to chromatography.
