Creep of polymers at multiaxial loading
We introduce a phenomenological model which allows the calculation of creep strain at multiaxial loading for technical purposes. The model parameters are determined for polybutylene terephthalate (PBTP) from uniaxial creep experiments. The creep deformations are computed within the frame of the model in the case of torsion, inside pressure, and a combination of tension and torsion load and are compared to measurement results.
