The requirement of good reproducibility of test results, validated by statistical material, and constant pressure to save costs have made it indispensible to automate laboratory procedures, in view of the considerable number of samples to be tested and the necessity to realize this project at low cost, various vulcanizate tests were automated and connected online to a computer-based laboratory information management system.
