Effect of trans-polyoctenylene on rheological properties of filled NR compounds and its interaction mechanism
The role of trans-polyoctenylene (TOR) as a crosslinkable processing aid on natural rubber (NR) compounds is investigated. A systematic rheological study has been carried out on NR filled system with TOR using a capillary rheometer at different shear rates and I/d ratios. Two types of carbon black were used. Different types of interaction are suggested.
