1,3 bis(citraconimidomethyl)benzene, an extremely effective anti-reversion agent, maintains the physical properties of vulcanizates that are overcured or cured at high temperatures. This paper summarizes laboratory results obtained in a typical passenger tread compound that demonstrate the feasibility of improving productivity by increasing cure temperatures.
