Recycling technologies.
In the recycling industry polymers are no longer the focus of attention. Plant manufacturers and recycling companies are now concentrating on the essential point: reprocessing of scrap. There are few completely new technologies to be seen; the market is characterized by further developments of tried-and-tested technologies. Development work is concentrating on the processing of clean, high-quality wastes with specialized tailor-made equipment. But new technical developments now allow even the reviled commingled plastics to be recycled into marketable products.
