A better understanding of the core.
In two-component injection moulding the distribution of the component is determined by the viscosities of the two components, the ratio between the viscosities of the core and skin material the duration of the simultaneous phase and the velocity of the flow front. The occurrence of instabilities and the development of the layer thickness can be described by means of empirically determined models.
