The coextrusion blow moulding of six-layer plastics fuel tanks with E/VAL barrier layer for extremely low hydrocarbon emissions is widespread. This process is now becoming established for fuel-tank filler pipes, especially since the introduction of 3D blow moulding technology. The newly developed wall-thickness layer control ensures further optimization of article quality and weight.
