Surface-Chemistry in Monoethylene Glycol - Aggregation Behavior of Sodium Dodecyl-Sulfate
Aggregation behavior of sodium dodecyl sulfate in water-monoethylene glycol (MEG) mixtures is investigated by surface tension, electrical conductivity, light scattering, and fluorescence techniques. It is concluded that loose micelle-like aggregates, with a large amount of solvent penetration, are formed beyond 65% of MEG.
