Henrys Law Constants and Gas-Solid Potential for CO2 on Graphitized Carbon-Blacks
Experimental adsorption isotherms of CO2 adsorbed on several highly graphitized carbon blacks are reported. These data have been analyzed in order to determine the Henry’s laws constants and heats of adsorption for the systems. The comparison between experiment and theory yields information concerning the molecule-solid interaction potential. Best-fit parameters obtained for several versions of the site-site model of the CO2-graphite interaction are given.
