Cumene Dehydrogenation on Silica-Pillared Rectorite
The main reaction of cumene on silica-pillared rectorite is the dehydrogenation reaction, the main product is alpha-methylstyrene. The dehydrogenation activity of cumene greatly increases after transition metal cation modification, especially Fe3+ cation. The active site in the silica-pillared rectorite is the framework tetrahedral Fe-O-4 cluster.
