The effect of different synthesis methods on properties of GaP nanocrystals
GaP nanocrystals were synthesized by the benzene-thermal synthesis method in autoclave at 260 degrees C for 6 h. The particle size distribution and optical absorption property were studied and were compared with that of the reflux method in organic solvent. The advantages of the benzene-thermal synthesis method are the lower temperature and shorter time required than in the reflux methods in organic solvent.
