Presented is a method of fluid gravity flow calculations inside pipe-line section cut from both sides by hermetic valves during the period of drain-off through the weir port. Calculations of real oil pipe-line shut-down have been conducted. Comparison of obtained data with experimental data has been made, showing their good coincedence.
