Presented are relationship between royalty payment changes and profitability of field development and distribution of Joint Stock Oil Company "Bashneft" oil fields according Co their reserves volume as of 01.01.98. Conducted are four options of technical-economic evaluations for all Bashkortostan oil fields with the purpose of substantiation of royalty rates efficiency. A conclusion is made, that developed scale of payments＇ rates is economically viable and requires soonest possible implementation firstly in Bashkortostan Republic, and, later, in Russian Federation.
