Development results of a number of small fields are analyzed. It is stated, that their development is characterized by comparatevily high rates of initial recoverable reserves withdrawal, high concentration of initial reserves per well and high rates of pool depletion. Reviewed are basic conditions, needed to make small field development profitable and efficient.
