Reviewed are the results of remedial and water shut-off operations in producers with the purpose of controlling water influx and of selective isolation operations in injectors with the purpose to uniform injection profiles. A chosen trend of activities on controlling water influx and water production is proven to be right. Such trend consists of development and implementation of systematic approach to formation stimulation through production and injection wells.
