It is stated, that modernization of lubricating additives, containing neutralized and free fatty acids, by different dispersants, which increase compatibility of fatty acids with drilling mud water phase, is highly efficient. It is noted, that the most viable is combined application of chemical and physical-chemical dispersants, for example, neutralizing agent together with emulsifier.
