Studied is the composition and properties of nitrous oil bases residing in formations of water flooded fields. it is shown that they are mostly represented by low-molecular multi-functional compounds. It is mentioned that such nitrous bases cause reduction of surface tension at the boundary <> in both acid and alkaline media.
