Improvement of drilling mud lubricating properties evaluation methodics
Presented are the results of drilling mud lubricating properties studies. It is stat ed, that hydrophobic interactions and hydrophobic binding, occuring in the layer of lubricating additive, chemosorptioned on metallic surface, play a significant role in lubricating properties enhancement. Proposed are a number of methods for the increase of hydrophobic degree and, accordingly, enhancement of lubricating action of outer monolayer.
