Authentity is shown of eliminating the influence of nonuniform velocity anomalies by introducing compensating statistical corrections with consequent specification of common depth point velocities. Substantiation is given for accepted admissions in calculations of statistical corrections, compensating velocities＇ nonuniformity in upper parts of the interval.
