DIRECT LIQUID-PHASE OXIDATION OF 3-METHYLBUT-1-ENE BY ATMOSPHERIC OXYGEN
An examination has been made of different variants of the direct oxidation of 3-methylbut-1-ene by atmospheric oxygen in the liquid phase. The most promising of the variants examined for the oxidation of this alpha-isoamylene is direct oxidation in the presence of a bimetallic catalytic system. Target products were isolated from the oxidate - 3-methylbut-1-ene oxide and dimethylvinylcarbinol of sufficient purity.
