FEATURES OF THE OXIDATIVE CONDENSATION OF METHANE TO ETHYLENE ON OXIDE CATALYSTS
It has been established that a number of natural compounds exhibit catalytic activity in the oxidative condensation of methane to C-2 hydrocarbons. It has been shown that the promotion of chrysotile-asbestos by sodium, lanthanum and manganese compounds improves the activity and selectivity of the catalyst. A study has been made of the influence of the nature of the catalyst temperature, the contact time, the nature of the oxidant and the nature and content of the modifier on the main indices of oxidative conversion of methane to C-2 products.
