An investigation has been made of the catalytic properties of a polycationic CoLaCaNaY zeolite modified under hydrothermal conditions in the alkylation of benzene by higher alpha-olefins. The influence of the reaction conditions on the yield of isomeric alkylbenzenes and also byproducts of olefin conversion has been examined.
