On the Use of the Numerical-Simulation of the First Positive System of N-2 .1. Emission and LiF Analysis
Numerical modeling of the first positive system of N-2 (B-3 Pi(g)-A(3) Sigma C-u+) has been applied to analyze the plasma-induced emission and the laser-induced fluorescence spectra of rite He-N-2 d discharge. Information is obtained oil the rotational temperature by fitting partially resolved/unresolved single vibronic bands, and a vibrational analysis is made by fitting any sequence and the laser-induced fluorescence spectra analysis ill both excitation and fluorescence scans. This technique is currently being used to analyze the first positive system spectra in the energy transfer phenomena study of the He-N-2 rf pulsed discharge.
