Characterization of Hydroxyl-Terminated Polybutadiene .5. Structure of Polymers Produced by Thermal and Photochemical Hydrogen-Peroxide Decomposition
The structures of hydroxyl terminated polbutadienes (HTPB) obtained by free radical polymerization of butadiene in ethanol medium initiated by thermal and photochemical hydrogen peroxide decomposition were studied. The incorporation of alcohol in the polymer chain ends was evidenced by H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy.
