Analysis of urethane reaction in a tubular reactor with mixing elements
Urethane reaction in a tubular reactor with mixing elements was analyzed with a mathematical model proposed previously by the authors. It was observed that the results obtained from the mathematical model show good agreement with those obtained from experiments. The radial diffusion in a tubular reactor has remarkable influence on mass and heat transfer. It was confirmed that the proposed mathematical model can be used for the predictions in a tubular reactor with mixing elements.
