Treatment of selected sulfur, nitrogen and chlorine organic compounds by thermocatalytic oxidation.
An effect of some basic parameters on a process efficiency and composition of products obtained during thermocatalytic oxidation of selected sulfur, nitrogen and chlorine organic compounds, such as diphenylsulfone, thiourea, triethanolamine and 1,2-dichloropropane is described. The process was carried out on platinum, copper-zinc, copper-chromium-zinc and vanadium catalysts. In the temperature range from 300 degrees C to 700 degrees C conversion degree was 97 to 99% which corresponds to the contact time from 0,01 to 0,02 sec.
