The synthesis method of disodium salt of R-ethoxylated sulfosuccinate acid from fatty acids isolated from post-refining fatty acids, ethylene glycol, phthalate anhydride and sodium sulfate has been worked out. The product has been used as the main component of a softener. Boucle tissue impregnated with this softener revealed required softness and hygroscopic and wetting properties.
