PAC OR CMC CAN YOU SIMPLY AND QUICKLY MAKE THE DIFFERENCE ON FIELDS
The aim of this work was to find a simple method to quickly differentiate two types of fluid loss reducer, classically used in water based formulations, i.e. polyanionic cellulose (PAC) and carboxy methyl cellulose (GMC). This method is based on differences between filtrate volumes between the two, when the polymer has been dissolved in saturated electrolyte solutions.
